Summer slow down !!! We are ready for our fair to begin this week.  Then Ragbrai, rolls through on Sunday and then back to some normalcy maybe.  We have been chasing bagworms profusely and continue on our quest.  I am almost 2 days away from being caught up, so if you have an emergency, do not hesitate to call.  We'll talk more when we get another chance to catch our breath.

We are going strong on our bagworm treatments, there have been confirmed hatches at every location we are treating so far.  I also confirmed pricing on competition is almost 400 % more.  They are charging $50 to show up in driveway and $10 / tree and they get more money per tree if tree is over 15 foot tall.  Example....  2, 15 foot trees, my charge is $40, theirs ... $70.  Another example, like the one I ran into just the other day. 35 Trees, 15 foot tall... their charge, $400.  My Quote......  $125.00 .  The frustrating thing about this bid is that I provided this customer a quote and they did not have me do the job, but they called competition and had them spray with out talking price.  Let me get this straight,  I am using a superior mist blower, I am using superior chemicals,  In fact, they are using chemicals that the bagworms have been easily adapting to as Iowa state is reporting.  This should be a no brainer, but now I see where they get all their money for advertising.  This is not going to change how I do business, I will NOT charge what they are charging.  I also will not mail your money out of town.  This is my local business guarantee.
