My logo is coming so I can put it up on my road sign.  We are excited about the sign and this week we start on yards.  Gonna get some great temps this coming week.  That will push up our schedule for seeding jobs now too.  Bought a seeder last week and it should be here by wedensday. 

Got that first job of the year done for termites, and many inspections rolling in.  Great news for our local area that many homes are now selling.  (tis the season).  I'm also excited, I have been riding on my ride on machine for spreading fertilizer and spray.  I got my big load of supplies yesterday so I am now set to be on your lawns soon.  You will see me within the next week or two on your yard.  I am also repainting my sign out by the road right now.  So do not be concerned if you see a blank sign.  I had trouble reading it, so I know many other people couldnt read it.  I'm gonna take another stab at it and try with a white background this time.

Yet, the lawn care sign ups continue to come into our mailbox.  We are very appreciative of our customers and each and every one is VERY valuable to the continued success of RMPKA.  As we build our customer base more, (going into our second year) we rely on a lot of referral business, word of mouth, and grass roots, knocking on doors.  I am going to be doing an interview with Jerry on KCSI at about 8:15 on March 26th.  Would appreciate everyone tuning in, (95.3 FM).  We will be out and about starting our Step 1 Crabgrass preventer within the next 10 days, pending weather.  (this darn snow!!!)  The biggest benefit I can state with "Advanced Lawn Care" over the competition is the fact that we do many value added services, one item being multiple visits, (unbilled) for spot treatment, especially helpful during dandelion season coming soon. 

I will be announcing our farm & home show special probably on Friday.  I just have one thing to say, It is a HUGE promotion and you can get in on it, by visiting the Red Oak Gymanasium on Saturday.  At the door they will hand out coupons for Red Oak Chamber of Commerce members.  (That would be us)....   Then simply come visit our booth and talk to us.  I will tell you right now, that actual value on the show special is right at $140.  Come to think of it, I have internet access at the show, I will announce it on the morning of the show once we're up and rolling.  At 11:30 - noon, I will be doing a presentation in the auditorium titled, "Bagworms, Bedbugs, & Termites"

Well, the turn out was frankly, very bad.  The good news....  Vendor fees went to the Page County Fairboard and that is a great way for us as local businesses to give back to our community.  Dad and me are looking forward to the Red Oak show this Saturday on March 13th as we expect to have a large turnout there.  We also have internet capabilities at Red Oak in the High School gymnasium, so we can give instant quotes and take lawn care sign ups.  Come by our booth and see our termite detector, learn about Bagworms, & sign up for Lawn Care or a Free termite Inspection.  We will also have a drawing for free perimeter pest control application, which is a $45 value.  Come see us in Red Oak at the show.

Come visit with us at the Clarinda Farm & Home show that is on March 6th starting at 9 and going till 3 in the afternoon.  This is a fundraiser for the Page county fairboard and as a local business we are supporting local causes.  The weather man is saying there is a real chance of this day being above the 50 degree mark and that will make for a beautiful spring day.
